You are guaranteed the arrival of a live, healthy reptile, however somebody must be home to receive the box on the first delivery attempt. UPS and Fed Ex have been very reliable shippers. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Long Island Geckos Guarantee:
1. Your reptile will be alive and healthy. We guarantee the health of your reptile for seven days after arrival, subject to each of the terms below.
2. Your reptile will arrive alive. This is our guarantee to you when an adult is present to receive your reptile shipment on the first delivery attempt. We stress the importance of receiving your reptile on the first delivery because it can be fatal for the animal to have any additional time in shipment. We cannot guarantee a live arrival after the first delivery attempt.
3. After your reptile arrives, you should not place your new reptile with any other animals. A quarantine period is required. If your new reptile is not quarantined it is not possible for us to accurately determine the cause of ill health and therefore we cannot offer our regular health guarantee.
4. You should take our reptile care sheet seriously. Read the care sheet carefully and be certain that your new reptile is properly caged, heated, and fed. Even if you are experienced with reptiles it is important to consider the adjustment that this reptile is making from Long Island Geckos to you and our care sheet provides you with information necessary for successful adjustment.
5. While we take every procaution, and our record is excellent for healthy arrival, sometimes unfortunately there may be a health issue with your new reptile. If there is any problem with the health of your animal we require that you notify us immediately upon discovery. Further, we may require photographs of the animal to identify the cause and existence of illness or death.
